Community organizations play important role in planning
When a pandemic flu occurs, it will disrupt our daily lives. Members of society who are not well equipped to deal with these changes will turn to trusted members of their community.
Faith-based and charitable organizations will likely see an increase in utilization of their services while experiencing a shortage of volunteers. If volunteers are home sick or caring
for sick family members, will your organization be able to meet the needs of those who depend on you? How will social distancing affect your organization?
Planning now can improve your organization’s ability to protect your community during emergencies in general. Take time now to understand how your organization could be affected;
get informed and be prepared.
